M-Pro7 Ultrasonic Gun Cleaning Instructions

M-Pro7 Gun Cleaner is a phenomenal ultrasonic gun cleaner and dissolves evenly in water. To remove heavy carbon fouling the formula can be diluted up to one part water: one part M-Pro 7 Gun Cleaner.  For general gun cleaning and degreasing, dilute up to nine parts water: one part M‑Pro7 Gun Cleaner.

Adding water negates any corrosion protection, therefore, to displace the water, completely submerge weapon in M-Pro7 Gun Oil LPX.
 

Ultrasonic Gun Cleaning Instructions:

1.     Unload firearm before cleaning
2.     Field strip firearm and remove stocks/grips
3.     Rinse parts briefly in hot water
4.     Place parts in a plastic tray and submerge in ultrasonic cleaner for 20 minutes
5.     Remove barrels and run bore brush through
6.     Return barrels to ultrasonic cleaner for 10 more minutes
7.     Remove parts and rinse with clean hot tap water
8.     If  possible, blow dry parts with compressed air
9.     Place parts in ultrasonic oil bath for 10 minutes
10.   Remove all parts and allow oil to drain
11.   Wipe all parts down and reassemble
12.   Lightly oil bores, slide rails, etc.

"In my own testing of different gun cleaning and lubricating products, I have found M-Pro7 to be the best. I have really cut down the time it takes to  clean my pistols by using the cleaner in an ultrasonic machine to clean the  barrels. I run a barrel for two 480 second cycles with heat and there is absolutely no copper or lead or carbon left. I have used other strong cleaners  like Butch's after using M-Pro7 in the ultrasonic cleaner and the patches come out perfectly white. I bought the ultrasonic machine at Harbor Freight for about $40.00. While the barrel is cleaning, I spray the cleaner on the other gun parts and scrub with a brush and then wipe off. You can use a bore snake on the barrel and then follow up by applying small amounts of MPro7 gun oil to the barrel and other parts and then reassemble. Fifteen minutes start to finish. And all the cleaners are non-toxic and don't have a strong smell. Great, great stuff!"
