M-Pro7 Gun Cleaner as a lead fouling remover.
Removing lead fouling is a difficult task. Lead fouling is bonded to the bore by carbon. M-Pro7 Gun Cleaner is an excellent lead remover and penetrates underneath the lead to dissolve the carbon allowing the lead fouling to brush out.
Removing Lead From Barrel: Spray M-Pro 7 Gun Cleaner (or swab M-Pro 7 Bore Gel) down the barrel and wait 5 to 6 minutes. Take a dime or quarter size piece of stainless steel pot scrubber, wrap it around your metal brush (this will not scratch the bore). Scrub bore with brush and pot scrubber 5 or 6 times. Repeat entire process until clean. For lead fouling removal in compensators; use toothpicks, a dental pick and/or cotton swabs.
With the amazing conditioning properties of M-Pro7 Gun Cleaner, subsequent lead fouling removal will become easier with regular use.
